OFF ROAD MOMENTS

SORE I

Organizing the first SORE event was a big milestone for us – something new that we approached with a lot of enthusiasm, but also with a sense of responsibility, knowing how much could go wrong if not done properly.

That’s why we decided to completely avoid busy roads, and the base was set at Čarobni Breg above Mokra Gora, which turned out to be a perfect choice. The level of interest from motorcyclists exceeded expectations, and we made an effort to minimize risks through clear guidelines and proper participant preparation.

The Adventure and Hobby routes were completely separated and clearly marked, with GPX tracks provided to every rider. Even the slightest risky sections were avoided, and the organization included two briefings, four guides on the field, two support vehicles with trailers, and a team of volunteers who kept everything under control.

In the end, the event gathered 105 motorcycles and over 150 people in total. For a first edition – more than we could have hoped for. SORE 1 was a real success and a strong foundation for everything that followed.

SORE II

After the first event, it was clear that we were on the right track, but also that there was room to take everything to the next level. We started with the idea of adding another day and introducing a bit of a competitive spirit, just to spice things up.

We chose Kaluđerske Bare as the new base, which made logistics much easier and gave us more accommodation options. The response was great again – around 100 motorcycles, with even stronger support from sponsors who recognized what we were doing. This time, we slightly “loosened” the route markings and relied more on GPS, as we wanted riders to focus more on navigation and orientation.

This naturally reduced the speed, allowing people more time to truly enjoy the ride and the landscapes they were passing through. The routes were still completely separated, with no intersections, and once again there were four guides on the field along with a number of volunteers who kept everything under control.

The biggest novelty was a short competitive section – a single trail of about 500 meters ridden in both directions. The cheering, excitement, and attempts to complete it as best as possible really lifted the atmosphere, and in the end, we had three winners with sponsor prizes. All in all, SORE 2 confirmed that the whole concept makes sense and that people truly enjoy it.

SORE III

The third SORE was already a serious step forward. After the first two events, we knew what worked, but also where we could take things to the next level.

We chose Zip Camp in Kremna as the base, which gave us much more space and comfort—for motorcycles, cars, trailers, as well as for the entire organization and sponsors. We also introduced organized meals, which immediately proved to be a great decision, and expanded the format to three days—training, main routes, and a competitive segment.

The Hobby and Adventure routes practically did not intersect, and we reduced the markings to key points only, encouraging riders to rely more on GPS and ride at a calmer pace. The Adventure route included more forest sections, increasing the level of difficulty and encouraging teamwork. The route was around 120 km for Adventure and about 75 km for Hobby.

The competition day attracted even more people, with a longer and more demanding track, full of excitement and cheering. In total, around 110 motorcycles and about 170 people gathered, while the atmosphere was further elevated by evening parties and organized meals. SORE 3 was a clear step forward – more organized, richer in content, and even better for all participants.

SORE IV

For the fourth SORE, the base was once again Zip Camp in Kremna, which had already proven to be an ideal location. We further enriched the program – in addition to training, we introduced a trial ride of around 12 km, which turned out to be a great success.

On the very first day, nearly 40 participants gathered, so we divided the riders into three groups based on experience, allowing everyone to ride at their own pace.

The main day was dedicated to routes across Tara and Zlatibor. The Hobby and Adventure routes were completely separated, with the Adventure route extended and made more demanding (around 125 km), while the Hobby remained at about 75 km. The organization was stronger than ever, with more guides and volunteers, as well as the presence of rescue services (USVS), which added an extra layer of safety.

The atmosphere at the camp was outstanding – riders returned throughout the day to food, socializing, and an evening party with a DJ. The competitive segment was enhanced with various obstacles and challenges, bringing great energy and an engaged crowd. SORE IV was yet another clear step forward and proof that the entire concept is growing in the right direction.
